Salary: $133,000 - $175,000 + Bonus

Candidates must have very stable resumes, law firm or professional services experience, and experience managing other team members, as well as multi state leave experience

About the Company:
Our client, a prestigious global law firm, is seeking an experienced Manager, Leaves and Accommodations to join their Talent Management team. This role is pivotal in overseeing U.S. and international leave policies, accommodations, workers’ compensation, and certain aspects of U.S. benefits administration. Reporting directly to the Director of Talent Management, the ideal candidate will ensure compliance with legal standards while aligning initiatives with the firm’s strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as the subject matter expert on global leaves of absence, accommodations, and compliance programs.
• Develop and oversee policies and initiatives related to leaves, accommodations, and workers’ compensation.
• Ensure compliance with FMLA, ADA, COBRA, and other relevant employment laws.
• Lead the firm’s workers’ compensation program, manage claims, and coordinate with legal counsel as needed.
• Oversee administrative functions, including payroll oversight and policy documentation for employees on leave.
• Collaborate on ergonomic assessments and ADA accommodations.
• Implement process improvements and control measures to align team performance with business objectives.
• Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in handling sensitive employee information.
Required Skills & Competencies:
• Expertise in employment laws related to leave and accommodations.
• Strong knowledge of benefits administration and payroll systems (Workday and ADP Vantage preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Ability to lead and collaborate across cross-functional teams in a dynamic work environment.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (industry certification preferred).
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in leave of absence administration, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Previous experience in a professional services or legal environment is highly desirable.
