Compensation:
• Salary: $130,000 – $190,000 (commensurate with experience)

Position Summary:
The Manager of Network Engineering will lead the design, implementation, and management of the firm’s networking infrastructure, including global WAN/SD-WAN, advanced routing (BGP, OSPF), QoS optimization, and public cloud connectivity. The role requires a combination of hands-on technical expertise and strategic leadership to support a secure, resilient, and scalable network environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Network Design & Management
• Oversee global WAN operations for scalability and high availability
• Lead deployment and lifecycle management of SD-WAN technologies
• Design and maintain network infrastructure utilizing BGP, OSPF, and other advanced routing protocols
• Optimize enterprise Wi-Fi systems across firm locations
Cloud Networking
• Design and manage cloud connectivity solutions in Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS
• Ensure seamless integration between on-premise infrastructure and public cloud environments
Traffic Management
• Implement and maintain QoS (Quality of Service) policies for application performance optimization
• Proactively monitor latency, bandwidth usage, and network performance metrics
Leadership & Team Management
• Lead, mentor, and manage a distributed team of network engineers
• Align team activities with broader IT and business goals
• Promote professional development and a collaborative team culture
Strategic Planning
• Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for network engineering
• Evaluate emerging technologies and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Operational Excellence
• Ensure maximum uptime, performance, and security of network systems
• Define monitoring standards, disaster recovery plans, and compliance controls
Collaboration & Support
• Serve as the escalation point for critical network issues
• Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to align strategies and resolve issues
Project Management
• Lead network-related initiatives and deployments
• Deliver projects on time, within scope and budget

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field
• Professional certifications preferred (e.g., CCNP, CCIE)
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering
• 4–6 years of leadership or managerial experience
• Proven experience with:
o Advanced routing protocols (BGP, OSPF)
o Global WAN and SD-WAN technologies
o Enterprise Wi-Fi infrastructure
o Cloud networking in Azure and/or AWS
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage infrastructure at scale
